Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LocoCount ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Account registration

An account is created when you complete sign-up through the methods offered by the Service and the operator approves the registration. The operator may refuse registration in the following cases:

• The applicant provides false information
• The applicant has previously violated these Terms
• The operator otherwise determines that registration is inappropriate

3. Prohibited conduct

When using the Service, you must not:

• Manipulate counts through bots, scripts, or other automation
• Create multiple accounts to bypass limits
• Harass, defame, or threaten other users
• Post topics or content that violates public order and morals
• Post content containing personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
• Use a display name already in use by another user (display names must be unique)
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Violate any applicable law or these Terms
• Engage in any other conduct the operator deems inappropriate

4. Plans and usage limits

The Service offers the following plans with daily usage limits. Limits reset at 00:00 Japan Standard Time. Guests (not signed in) have view-only access; cheering and posting require an account.

The Pro plan ($9.80/month, tax included; launch price) is billed monthly by credit card via Stripe and renews automatically. If you cancel, Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period. Stripe Adaptive Pricing converts the price to local currency where applicable.

5. One-off paid items

In addition to Pro, the Service offers the following one-off purchases. All payments are processed through Stripe and applied immediately after purchase.

• TopicSupport (cheer payments): $1.00 / $5.00 / $10.00 (¥100 / ¥300 / ¥500 / ¥1,000 / ¥3,000 / ¥10,000 tiers planned)
• Cheers obtained via TopicSupport are spendable beyond the daily Pro limit

6. Refunds and cancellation

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are generally not available once a purchase is complete. You may cancel the Pro plan from My Profile at any time; no partial refunds are issued for the current billing period. If the Service fails to operate correctly due to an issue on our side, please contact lococount.official@gmail.com.

7. Display name uniqueness

Display names must be unique across the Service. You cannot register a name already used by another user.

8. User content

You retain the intellectual property rights to the topics, counts, and other content you post to the Service. You grant the operator a royalty-free, sublicensable license to use your content as necessary to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

The operator may remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination without notice. If an account is removed, paid items, balances, and post history associated with the account are forfeited and generally non-refundable.

9. Changes to the Service

The operator may change, add, or discontinue features of the Service without prior notice. The operator is not liable for any damages arising from such changes.

10. Disclaimer

Except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent misconduct by the operator, the operator disclaims all liability for any damages arising from your use of the Service. The operator is not liable for disputes between users.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the operator's location.

12. Eligibility and age requirement

The Service is available to users who are 13 years of age or older. Users aged 13 to 17 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using the Service. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the Service.

Purchases of paid plans (Pro subscription, TopicSupport cheer payments) require that you are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The operator may cancel payments or suspend accounts if it determines that the age requirement is not met.
